What is SLANCH!?
SLANCH! is a free app for finding and rating pubs across the UK. You swipe through real pubs near you: right to crown a GOAT, left to pass, up to add it to your hitlist. Every verdict feeds live community rankings of the best pubs in each city.
How are pubs ranked?
Only by people who say they've been. Each pub's score is the share of them who crowned it, weighted by how many have voted, so three verdicts can never outrank two hundred. A pub needs at least three verdicts before it gets a public score.
What is the Pint Index?
Crowd-reported pint prices. Anyone can add what they paid for a Guinness, a Tennent's, a cask ale or a craft pint, and SLANCH! shows the average and the cheapest pour in each city. Prices are anonymous — only the totals are public.
Can I build a pub crawl?
Yes. Add any pub to a crawl, put the stops in order and share one link with your group. Verified venues can publish official crawls for their street or neighbourhood too.
Is SLANCH! free?
Yes. Rating, rankings, the map, crawls and your hitlist are free and always will be for drinkers. You need a free account so every verdict comes from a real person.
I run a pub. How do I get on SLANCH!?
You're probably already on it. Search your pub's name, open its page and claim it. Verified landlords can list their taps, quiz night and events, publish a crawl, and print a QR beer mat and window sticker.
